Sassafras is your home away from home. Set in a converted workers cottage in the heart of Paddington, it’s one of Brisbane’s oldest main stay cafés. Recently renovated inside, and boasting a huge leafy back yard garden, Sass (as it’s known to locals) is home to amazing breakfasts, brunches and lunches, home made cakes, espresso from Bear Bones, and those famous ricotta hotcakes with house made honeycomb butter.
Not to mention Sassafras is fully licensed, with a healthy list of craft beer, cider, spirits and cocktails. We also have a small but mighty wine list that is sure to please.
